A Scottdale teen designed and executed an outside venue at the Geyer Performing Arts Center for his Eagle Scout Project.
Featuring murals by artist Erin Riggi and members of the Greensburg Central Catholic National Arts Honor Society, the outdoor space designed by scout Patterson Ware transformed an empty, underutilized lot into a site for performances and created a new platform for public art in the downtown Scottdale area.
Ware, RiggiĢƵ son, has been performing and participating at the theater since he was 5 years old, and dedicated the stage to Ernie Watson, a staple in the theater community.
Ware is a member of Troop 150, and also a member of the National Honor Society, National Arts Honor Society, Columbian Squire, National French Honor Society, and Interact.
