Great Meadows Garden Club to host free Alice in Wonderland event and flower show
Get ready to go down the rabbit hole during the “Alice in Wonderland” flower show and Mad HatterĢƵ tea party.
The Wonderland-themed event, organized by the Great Meadows Garden Club, includes fun for the whole family and a flower show put on by club on Wednesday, July 26 at the Uniontown Country Club.
There will be numerous Wonderland characters and displays, a Mad HatterĢƵ Tea Party, scavenger hunt, photo booth and games, along with the flower show.
Members of the garden club have prepared for the event over many months, making Wonderland costumes, a realistic rabbit hole, giant mushrooms, a stuffed Cheshire cat, a caterpillar and much more. Participants are encouraged to come in costume to experience the true Wonderland.
The flower show includes many educational exhibits and displays of horticulture and floral designs, including the Queens Garden, where itĢƵ always tea time.
The free event runs from 2 to 7 p.m., and is open to the public. The country club is located at 25 Bailey Lane, Uniontown.
