Masontown man earns medical degree
Andrew T. M. Colebank, D.O., graduated from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine (WVSOM) with a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree on May 5.
While at WVSOM, he was a member of the Rural Health Initiative. He received the WVSOM Alumni Association Scholarship, the MOSS Scholarship, the Rural Service Physician Scholarship and gold T.O.U.C.H. (Translating Osteopathic Understanding Into Community Health) recognition for community service.
Colebank earned a bachelorÄ¢¹½ÊÓÆµ degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 2018. He is a 2014 graduate of Albert Gallatin High School.
Colebank is the son of Thomas and Karianne Dreucci Colebank and Kathleen Beile and Theodore Reed, all of of Masontown.
He plans to enter a family medicine residency at Cornerstone Care Community Health Center at Mon Health Medical Center in Mount Morris.
