n The St. Vincent de Paul-sponsored food bank will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 15 at the parking lot of the St. Mary’s Social Hall, 118 Church St., Brownsville. Families must be registered with Fayette County Community Action Agency in order to receive food.
n There will be a food bank at Pleasant View Presbyterian Church, 533 Royal Road, Smock, on Saturday, Nov. 18 at 10:00 a.m.
n There will be a blood drive at the First Christian Church of Brownsville, 512 Second Street, Brownsville, on Tuesday, Nov. 28 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Appointments can be scheduled at www.redcrossblood.org or by calling 1-800-733-2767.
n The First Christian Church, 512 Second St., Brownsville, will hold a food bank distribution on is on Saturday, Nov. 18 from 9 to 11 a.m. Participants should use the lower-level rear door.
