n There is Hope addiction recovery meetings will be held in person on Mondays, Oct. 16, 23, and 30 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Malden Christian Fellowship, 343 Old National Pike, Brownsville. For Zoom access to the meetings or more information, call 724-434-4597 or 724-785-3042.

n Pleasant View Presbyterian Church, 533 Royal Road, Smock, will hold “Kingdom Kids,” featuring Bible stories, music, crafts games and snacks, on Wednesdays, Oct. 18 and 25 and Nov. 1, 8 and 15 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Call 724-677-2149 with questions.

n The St. Vincent de Paul-sponsored food bank will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 18 from 11 a.m. to noon in the parking lot of St. Mary’s Social Hall, 118 Church St., Brownsville. Participants must be registered with Fayette County Community Action Agency.

n Pleasant View Presbyterian Church, 533 Royal Road, Smock, will host a food bank distribution on Saturday, Oct. 21 at 10 a.m.

n The First Christian Church, 512 Second St., Brownsville, will hold a food bank distribution on is on Saturday, Oct. 28 from 9 to 11 a.m. Participants should use the lower-level rear door.
