Applications being accepted for Soroptimist Live Your Dream Award
Applications for the Soroptimist International of Fayette County Live Your Dream Award are being accepted through Nov. 15.
Women who serve as the primary wage earners for their families and need financial assistance to continue their education or to receive training can apply for the grant.
In February 2024, the Fayette nonprofit awarded a total of $2,500 to 3 women meeting the award criteria. The Live Your Dream Award can help offset costs associated with higher education or additional skills and training, including tuition, books, childcare, transportation, or any other education-related expense.
Award recipients could then advance to the Soroptimist North Atlantic Region level, where recipients could receive up to an additional $5,000.
