On Sunday, April 19, from 4 – 5:30 p.m. Allison Christian Church, 452 East Ave., Allison, is holding a youth group meeting on Sunday, April 19 from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Young people of any age and from any denomination are welcome.

The Masontown Community Kitchen will be open on Tuesday, April 21 from 4-5:30 p.m. Dinner will be sloppy Joe sandwiches, macaroni salad, chips,homemade desserts, and bread. The Greater Uniontown Chorale presents Goodness of God on Sunday, April 26, 3 p.m. at Point Marion Christian Church, 432 Morgantown St., Point Marion; Monday, April 27, 7 p.m. at Fairchance First Baptist Church, 17 North Morgantown St., Fairchance; Sunday, May 3, 3 p.m. at Philip G. Cochran United Methodist Church, 206 Griscom St., Dawson; Monday, May 4, 7 p.m. at Trinity United Presbyterian Church, 79 West Fayette St., Uniontown. There is no admission charge, but a freewill offering will be taken.

The annual Mt. Summit Challenge Run/Walk is Sunday, April 26 at 9 a.m. Registration opens at 7:30 a.m. at the Hopwood Volunteer Fire Department. There will be a post-race party for all paid entries at the Summit Hotel, including the awards ceremony. A race application can be printed from the Fayette Striders Running Club.

Pleasant View Presbyterian Church in Smock is sponsoring “Loads of Love” at Mod Laundromat, 503 Union St., Brownsville on Sunday, April 26 from 1 to 4 p.m. Those who need help paying for laundry costs are invited to do their laundry at this time.

The Belle Vernon Public Library will partner with the Goodwill of SW PA’s Tri-County location in Rostraver to host a Donation Drive on April 28. Goodwill Donations brought to the store from 3 to 6 p.m. will help the library raise money and benefit Goodwill. The library will also accept donated items brought to their North Belle Vernon location during the week leading up to the donation day. The National Association of Letter Carriers Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive will take place on Saturday, May 9. Each year, on the second Saturday in May, letter carriers across the country collect non-perishable food donations to go directly to local food pantries that provide food to people who need help. To participate, leave a non-perishable food donation in a bag by your mailbox on May 9 for your letter carrier.

United Christian Church, 499 E. Malden Drive, Coal Center, is holding the spring fundraiser “Bling, Bags, Blooms & Bites,” on Saturday, May 16, from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. This event combines a gourmet dining experience with an exclusive shopping opportunity. Tickets for the luncheon are $40, and only 48 will be sold. Call 724-938-2098 for tickets or additional information.

Mon Valley Academy for the Arts (MVAA) invites teens to participate in its ongoing Crafty Conversations program, held on the second Wednesday of each month from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Peter J. Daley Cultural Center, 119 Brownsville Ave., Brownsville. The free sessions offer teens a chance to express themselves artistically. The Uniontown Amateur Radio Club holds its meetings on the first and third Wednesdays of every month at 7 p.m. at the club building, 433 Old Pittsburgh Road, Uniontown. Malden Christian Fellowship, 343 Old National Pike, Brownsville is holding a weekly meeting for women and teenage girls to discuss issues like depression, grief and eating disorders. Meetings are on Thursdays from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

On Mondays from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., the addiction recovery ministry There is Hope will be held at Malden Christian Fellowship, 343 Old National Pike, Brownsville.
