WVU Medicine Uniontown Hospital seeking community feedback
WVU Medicine Uniontown Hospital is seeking feedback from patients and members of the community in an effort to help shape the health care landscape in Fayette County.
Jennifer Miele, the hospital’s marketing and communications director, said the survey encompasses all of the hospital’s services, which include cardiology, orthopedics, pulmonology, and sleep medicine.
“We want to find out what the community really thinks they need,” Miele said.
She said knowing those needs can help hospital administrators proactively meet them.
People who take the anonymous survey will be asked to rank a number of things, including specific services offered and the overall perception of the hospital. Participants are also invited to offer suggestions about how the hospital could better serve the community.
Miele said the survey will be available for about three weeks, and hospital officials hope to get at least 600 responses.
Said Uniontown Hospital President and CEO Karyn Wallace, “We are committed to delivering the highest quality care to our community, and the best way to do that is by listening directly to the people we serve.”
