Newcomer wins in Uniontown
With 100 percent of the vote counted, political newcomer Jared Billy was the top vote-getter for Uniontown City Council with 653 votes, followed by Democratic incumbent Francis Joby Palumbo with580 votes. Republican incumbent Gary Gearing placed third with 397, ending his run on council at the end of this year.
