Update: Abraham gets Fayette County controller Democratic nod

Scott Abraham secured the Democratic nomination for the Fayette County controller position by edging Joby Palumbo in Tuesday’s primary, according to unofficial results. 

With all 81 precincts in the county reporting, Abraham received 7,997 votes to Palumbo’s 6,725 votes. Abraham received 54 percent of the total vote.

Abraham will face Republican John Lavery in November.
