Zimmerlink leads in GOP commissioner race
Incumbent Commissioner Angela M. Zimmerlink took the early lead in the GOP race for Fayette County commissioner.
With 40 of the 81 voting precincts reporting, Zimmerlink leads David Lohr by 14 votes, while Pat Lion and Evelyn Hovanec聽 were trailing with 943 and 697 votes respectively in unofficial tallies.
Republican voters are choosing two candidates to challenge the Democrats in the fall.
