Earlier this year, CeCe Winans released an incredible new album filled with inspirational songs that offered up heartfelt encouragement and boundless love through a personal relationship with Christ. “Let Them Fall in Love” quickly became one of my most-played CDs while traveling daily for work.

Now, another gospel singer has captured that same passion of praise through anthems detailing a Holy Spirit-led life blessed with steadfast faith, hope and conviction.

“Heart. Passion. Pursuit.” is Tasha Cobbs LeonardĢƵ latest release and was recorded live in the studio as part of a collective effort between a variety of talented and passionate musicians as well as numerous worship leaders coming together to create a true universal worship sound that speaks directly to those seeking to feel the presence of God.

“The Name of Our God” opens with LeonardĢƵ heavenly voice describing the wonders of an unshakable faith that can move mountains when Christ is the rock in which we stand firmly upon.

Beautiful, wonderful and powerful are the three words offered up by Leonard and guest singer and worship leader Anna Golden to describe the overwhelming feeling of amazing grace and love on the beautiful “Wonderful Grace.”

The tender and eloquent “You Know My Name” flows gently with Christian artist Jimi Cravity slowing things down with Leonard on the melodic track that emphasizes that God knows us each of us by name and will take care of our every need according to his will.

On “Your Spirit,” gospel singer Kierra Sheard partners with Leonard and lends her powerful voice to the message of standing in complete awe of the life-changing power delivered by the Holy Spirit again and again.

The true surprise of the album arrives when Nicki Minaj joins Leonard on the stirring “I’m Getting Ready.” As Leonard declares that victory is here and prepares for a blessings overflow, Minaj raps, ” Now praise him, raise him, name it, claim it.” ItĢƵ certainly an interesting chemistry between the two artists that relays a soaring excitement and passion for seeing GodĢƵ plans begin to take root and become fruitful.

Leonard closes the album with “DoveĢƵ Eyes,” a moving testimonial about possessing an undistracted devotion to experiencing the glory of GodĢƵ love with a joy in your heart and endless praise on your lips.

In a world that truly needs more examples of heart, passion and pursuit, Leonard generously delivers the words we need to hear.

Can I get an Amen?
