1 min read

State police said a Waynesburg man is accused of stabbing two men Friday outside a bar in Greene County.

Police allege when Joseph Adams, 49, was asked to leave around 10:35 p.m. from Buddy’s Tavern on Jennings Avenue in Franklin Twp., he got into a fight with Eric Miller of Holbrook and William Wise of New Freeport outside the bar.

Police said Adams removed a keychain containing a 3-inch stainless steel knife and allegedly began to stab Miller and Wise.

Miller and Wise were treated at Southwest Regional Hospital and released, police said.

According to court documents, Adams was charged with two counts of aggravated assault, two counts of simple assault, two counts of harassment and disorderly conduct when he was arraigned Saturday before Magisterial District Court Judge Lee Watson. Adams bond was set at $25,000 and he remains in Greene County Prison, according to court documents.
