Rohanna has rough opening round
Rachel Rohanna had a rough go on her back nine in the opening round of the Lotte Championship presented by Hershey’s in Oahu, Hawaii, leading to a first-round score of 7-over 79.
Moriya Jutanugarn and Minjee Lee share the first-round lead at 4-under 68.
Rohanna opened on No. 10 and carded eight straight pars before closing her back nine with a double bogey-6 to go out in 2-over 38.
The Waynesburg Central made the turn with back-to-back pars, but then the round hit a snag with a double bogey.
Rohanna followed with back-to-back bogeys, but recovered one stroke with a birdie on her 15th hole.
She closed out on a sour note, though, with two bogeys in the final three holes to play her final nine holes in 5-over 41.
