Washington defeats Lady Mikes, 42-28
The Carmichaels girls led after the first quarter and at halftime, but Washington rallied in the final 16 minutes for a 42-28 victory Friday night in the Charleroi Tip-Off Tournament.
The Lady Mikes (0-1) led 7-4 after the first quarter and 21-17 at halftime.
Washington (1-0) rallied into the lead with a 14-2 advantage in the third quarter and secured the victory with an 11-5 fourth quarter.
Shelby McCann led the Lady Mikes with seven points.
Torri Finley scored a game-high 15 points for Monessen.
