Lady Rockets cap undefeated section run
The Lady Rockets capped off an undefeated Section 3-A season Friday night as visiting Jefferson-Morgan defeated Mapletown, 75-30.
Jefferson-Morgan finishes with a 14-0 section record, improving to 20-1 overall. The Lady Maples finish the season 2-12 in the section and 3-17 overall.
The Lady Rockets led 34-7, 43-11 and 56-19 at the quarter breaks.
Kayla Yorko scored a game-high 27 points, including six 3-pointers, for Jefferson-Morgan. Anna Mattish added 11.
Kayla Smith had a double-double for the Lady Maples with 15 points and 13 rebounds.
