Washington girls win at Carmichaels, 61-17

The Washington girls scored 21 in the first quarter and then pulled away for good with 26 more in the second for a 61-17 Section 4-AA victory Monday at Carmichaels.

The Lady Mikes (1-6, 4-12) trailed 47-12 at halftime and 59-14 after three quarters.

Tajah Gordon led Washington (7-1, 12-4) with a game-high 18 points. Torri Finley and Carly Allen both scored 11.

Kaitlyn Wilson led Carmichaels with seven points.
