Raiders clinch playoff berth
Darton McIntire and Mitch Warman combined for 54 points Friday night as visiting Waynesburg Central clinched a Section 4-AA playoff berth with a 79-69 victory at Frazier.
The Raiders (9-7) improve to 6-4 in the section. The Commodores go to 4-6 in the section and 9-9 overall, but would lose the tiebreaker after being swept by Waynesburg.
Beth-Center’s win at Carmichaels keeps the Bulldogs alive for the final playoff spot. The Raiders and Bulldogs split the season series.
McIntire poured in a game-high 32 points for the Raiders. Warman added 22.
Caleb Cox led the way for Frazier with 22 points. Josh Cox and Mark Dillon both scored 13, and Damon Lovis added 11.
The Raiders led 17-10, 43-35 and 59-53 at the quarter breaks.
