Trojans coast to 74-14 win at Mapletown

Kass Taylor finished with a double-double to lead visiting California to a 74-17 Section 3-A victory at Mapletown Friday night.

Taylor scored 21 points and grabbed 10 rebounds as the Trojans improve to 9-1 in the section and 12-5 overall.

Jayee Conaway scored 11 and Ben Wilson added 10 for California.

California led 21-4, 39-8 and 62-10 at the quarter breaks.

Alix Gennett led the Maples (0-10, 0-18) with six points.
