Rohannas open tournament play

Robert Rohanna finished at even-par 72, while Rachel Rohanna had a rougher time with a 3-over 75 Thursday on the first day of tournament play in the PGA Tour Latinoamerica and LPGA Tour.

Robert Rohanna is right at the anticipated cut, tied for 52nd place. Rachel Rohanna is tied for 90th place with the projected cut at 2-over.

Robert Rohanna had two birdies and three bogeys on the front nine of Estrella del Mar Golf, Condos & Beach Resort and the reverse on the back nine for his even-par score.

Rachel Rohanna started on the back nine of Travis Pointe Country Club in Ann Arbor, Michigan, with two bogeys and seven pars to go out in 2-over 38. 

She got to even par for the round with back-to-back birdies on her 13th and 14th holes, but finished the round with a bogey and double bogey to come back in 1-over 37.

The Waynesburg Central graduate hit only 4-of-14 fairways and 6-of-18 greens in regulation, although she needed only 25 putts to complete her round.
