Pioneers win on the road at Leechburg, 26-14
Leechburg led 7-0 after the first quarter, but West Greene stormed into the lead with 20 points in the second quarter on its way to a 26-14 non-conference victory.
Zach Pettit gave West Greene (2-5) the lead in the second quarter on a 6-yard touchdown run.
Ben Jackson’s 70-yard fumble recovery added to the Pioneers’ lead, and Pettit’s second touchdown run of the quarter gave West Greene a 20-7 lead.
Pettit closed the scoring on a 90-yard run in the fourth quarter.
