Clayton nets 5 in Lady Raiders’ 6-2 win
Madison Clayton scored a natural hat trick in the first half Saturday and added two more in the second half in Waynesburg Central’s 6-2 non-section win against visiting Elizabeth-Forward.
The Lady Warriors’ Cassidy Kern scored the first goal of the match, but Clayton answered with three straight goals.
Kylie Sinn, Bailey Fudala and Claire Garber assisted on the goals.
Sinn opened the scoring in the second half from a Clayton assist.
Kern scored her second goal of the game, but Clayton closed out the half with two goals. Garber and Sinn had the assists.
Waynesburg (5-1) plays at Southmoreland Monday. Elizabeth-Forward is 1-4-2 overall.
