The POC MED Golf Classic was cut to two rounds weather cancelled Friday’s first round, but Rachel Rohanna likely wishes the Symetra Tour tournament would’ve played the third and final round after her play Sunday.

Rohanna shot one of the better second rounds Sunday, a 2-under 70, to finish the rain-shortened tournament with a 4-over 148.

The Waynesburg Central graduate was tied for 88th place after Friday’s first round, but moved up into a tie for 26th place.

Hyemin Kim finished first with a two-round total of 7-under 137.

Rohanna had a rough start to her second round with two bogeys in the first nine holes to move to 8-over for the tournament.

However, she recovered on the back nine with four birdies, including three in a row, to shave four strokes off her round.

“I finally got some (putts) to drop coming in. I’m happy to be walking away with some money!,” said Rohanna.

Rohanna hit 9-of-14 fairways in the second round and 14-of-18 greens in regulation. She needed 31 putts in the second round, shaving five strokes off her first round total.
