Hunter Wasson and Selena Phillips were perfect Tuesday afternoon, leading the Waynesburg Central rifle team to a 796-56x-781-31x non-section victory over visiting Upper St. Clair at the Waynesburg Sportsman’s Club.

Wasson and Phillips both finished with a 100-10x score. A trio of teammates were nearly as perfect with Emilee Tuttle (100-8x), Abby Ozohonish (100-7x), and Cameron Cernuska (100-5x) also contributing to the season-opening victory.

Dylan Henkins (99-4x) and Tristan Cole (99-6x) closed out the scoring for the Raiders. Kadie Lagaza (94-6x), Grace Kalsey (98-4x), and Shelby Burkett (95-2x) did not factor in the final score.

Jack Pyckowski led the Panthers with a score of 99-5x.
