The Carmichaels boys pulled away in the third quarter Friday night on the Mikes’ way to a 57-35 non-section win over visiting Avella.

Carmichaels led 9-5 after the first quarter and 23-13 at halftime, and then put the game away with a 17-13 third quarter.

Al Cree led the Mikes with a game-high 15 points. Dylan Wilson added 10.

Matt Craig led Avella with 12 points.
