Lady Mikes secure 47-33 road win
The Carmichaels girls pushed into the lead in the second quarter and then pulled away Monday night to secure a 47-33 non-section road win at Mapletown.
The Lady Maples (1-2) led 8-4 after the first quarter, but the Lady Mikes led 13-10 at halftime.
Carmichaels (2-1) outscored Mapletown in the second half, 34-23.
Megan Walker led the Lady Mikes with a game-high 22 points, including four 3-pointers.
Kayla Smith scored 14 and Kelsi Smith added 10 for Mapletown.
