Lady Rockets hold off Mapletown, 44-41

Mapletown’s late rally came up short Tuesday night as the Lady Maples fell to visiting Jefferson-Morgan, 44-41, in Section 2-A action.聽

Trailing 38-29 after three quarters, the Lady Maples (1-3, 4-9) outscored Jefferson-Morgan in the fourth quarter, 12-6.

Jefferson-Morgan (4-2, 7-8) led 26-24 at halftime after the two teams combined for 39 points in the second quarter.

Hannah Dingle scored a game-high 15 points for the Lady Maples. Kayla Smith had a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds.

Anna Mattish scored 14 points for the Lady Rockets.
