Waynesburg rifle slips by Washington

By For The Greene County Messenger 1 min read

Although the Prexies’ Stephen Patrick was perfect, it was Hunter Wasson and the Waynesburg Central rifle team that came away with the 792-55x-788-49x Section 1 victory against visiting Washington.

Patrick was right on the mark in each round, scoring 100-10x. He was the only Washington shooter to crack 100, though.

The Raiders’ Hunter Wasson shared medalist honors with a score of 100-10x. Emilee Tuttle was sharp, as well, with 100-9x. Dylan Henkins was also zeroed in on the bull’s-eye, finishing with 100-8x.

Abby Ozohonish (99-6x), Dylan Crockard (99-5x), Cameron Cernuska (98-6x), Selena Phillips (98-6x), Cameron McIe (98-5x) also factored in the winning score.

Michael Pochron’s score of 95-3x and Rachel Elsenheimer’s 97-4x were not used.
