Rohanna slips down leaderboard in final round
Rachel Rohanna’s momentum didn’t carry over into Sunday’s final round of the Tullymore Classic with a 2-over 74.
The Waynesburg Central graduate slipped a bit down the leaderboard, finishing in a tie for 17th place at 6-under 210.
Yu Liu finished at 16-under 200 to win the Symetra Tour event played at Tullymore Golf Club in Canadian Lakes, Michigan.
Rohanna totaled five birdies in the first round and eight in the second, but managed only one birdie in the final round to go with two bogeys.
She played the front nine in 1-over 36 with one bogey and eight pars. Rohanna carded two bogeys and one birdie in the back nine to come back in 1-over 38.
Rohanna had her highest putt total in the three rounds, needing 31 to complete the final round. She hit 9-of-13 fairways and 11-of-18 greens in regulation.
The Symetra Tour remains in the midwest with the Donald Ross Centennial Classic at French Lick Resort in French Lick, Indiana, beginning Friday and running through Sunday.
