Mikes clinch playoff berth
Brownsville’s Lindsay Sethman was medalist, but Carmichaels had the lower team score for a 223-241 victory in Section 8-AA action Thursday afternoon at Carmichaels Golf Club.
The Mikes clinched second place and a playoff berth with the victory, improving to 9-2 in the section and 10-4 overall. The Falcons go to 6-4 in the section.
Matt Barrish was the low man for Carmichaels with an even-par 37. Remmey Lohr and Ethan Greene both shot 46. Taggart Shea and Delaney Lohr both finished with 47. Bradley Walker’s 48 was not used.
Sethman finished with a 1-under 36. Dalton Mullen finished with a 44. Caleb Olesko (50), EJ Victor (51), and Jake Defigio (60) also counted in the Falcons’ total. Mark Sheranek’s 63 was not used.
