Lady Raiders win two at home
The Waynesburg Central girls were a little deeper than visiting Frazier and Bentworth Thursday afternoon for a sweep of a Section 6-AA triangular.
The Lady Raiders defeated the Lady Commodores, 96-50, and the Lady Bearcats, 85-61. The Bentworth girls secured an 86-54 win over Frazier.
The 3,200 relay (12:07.50), Taylor Shriver (100, 18.86; pole vault, 10-6), Kaitlyn Pester (1,600, 6:31.19; 3,200, 14:10.11), 400 relay (57.04), Emma Mankey (400, 1:08.87), Maci Gray (800, 2:58.06), Bree Echegaray (high jump, 4-10), and Madison Brooks (shot put, 32-6) finished first overall for the Lady Raiders.
The Lady Bearcats’ Brenna Cavanaugh won the 100 (13.26), 200 (29.07), triple jump (30-2戮), and long jump (16-3). Jocelyn Timlin (300 intermediate hurdles, 56.79), Lindsay Davis (discus, 76-1), Hannah Roberts (javelin, 62-4), and the 1,600 relay (5:04.45) also finished first overal.
