Lady Cougars defeats Carmichaels, 39-29

The host Charleroi girls outscored Carmichaels in three of the four quarters Saturday for a 39-29 victory in the Charleroi Tip-Off Tournament.

The Lady Cougars (2-0) led 9-4, 15-8 and 27-20 at the quarter breaks.

Bella Skobel scored a game-high 19 points for Charleroi.

Gina Ranieri led Carmichaels (0-2) with 12 points.
