Mikes defeat host Geibel in title game, 60-51
Geibel Catholic was unable to rally from a cold start as the host Gators lost to Carmichaels, 60-51, Saturday night in the title game of the Geibel Tip-Off Tournament.
The Mikes (2-0) led 18-2 after the first quarter and 30-16 at halftime. Geibel (1-1) closed gap to 42-38 at the end of the third quarter, but Carmichaels controlled the fourth quarter, 18-13.
Al Cree led Carmichaels with 20 points. Dylan Wilson finished with 16 and Matt Barrish added 12.
Enzo Fetsko scored a game-high 22 points for the Gators. Ryan Anderson tallied 12 and Isaiah Krizner added 10.
