Raiders hold lead throughout game in 49-31 win

Waynesburg Central built an 8-point lead in the first quarter and maintained the advantage for the remainder of the non-section game Friday night for a 49-31 victory over visiting Mount Pleasant.

The Raiders (3-1) led 15-7, 26-10 and 40-20 at the quarter breaks.

Lucas Garber led Waynesburg with a game-high 17 points. Chris King added 10.

Nathan Kubasky scored 13 for the Vikings (0-4) and Jacob Johnson contributed 10.
