Lady Rockets fall in season finale, 63-29

Cornell pulled away in the second quarter Thursday night for a 63-29 non-section road victory at Jefferson-Morgan.

Cornell (7-14) led 17-4, 41-12 and 54-20 at the quarter breaks.

Patience Gipson led Cornell with a game-high 17 points. Nysia Miller finished with 11 and Jaelah Smith added 10.

Krista McCartey scored nine points for the Lady Rockets (2-20).
