Greyhounds race past West Greene, 74-33
Monessen topped 20 points in each of the first three quarters Friday night, returning home from West Greene with a 74-33 Section 2-A victory.
The Greyhounds (6-0, 7-7) led 27-10 after the first quarter and 48-18 at halftime. They extended the lead to 68-24 after three quarters.
Cory Fleming led the Greyhounds with a game-high 19 points. Lyndon Henderson and Elijahwa Payne finished with 15 points apiece. Vaughn Taylor added 11.
Nathan Brudnock led the Pioneers (4-2, 6-10) with 15 points.
