Lady Maples shut out West Greene, 3-0
The Mapletown girls volleyball team was too tough at home Thursday night, defeating West Greene, 3-0, in Section 2-A action.
The Lady Maples swept past the Lady Pioneers, 25-17, 25-15, 25-22.
Hannah Pettit had seven digs, Brianna Goodwin finished with six assists, and Elizabeth Brudnock had three kills for West Greene (2-8, 4-9).
Sydney Kuis led Mapletown (5-5, 6-5) with 11 digs. Kelsi Smith and Aliceon Clark both had five kills. Taylor Dusenberry finished with six kills and three aces. Macee Cree had a nice all-around performance with 18 assists, six aces and four kills.
