Mikes remain undefeated with 197-263 win
Matt Barrish shot 1-over 36 Wednesday afternoon as the Carmichaels boys golf team remained undefeated with a 197-263 road victory in Section 8-AA play against Beth-Center at Chippewa Golf Course.
The Mikes improve to 12-0 in the section and 13-0, and have remaining matches against Brownsville and Uniontown. The Bulldogs slip to 3-9 and 3-10, and must play Brownsville and Charleroi.
Ethan Greene shot 39 for Carmichaels. Taggart Shea finished with 40. The Lohr sisters, Delaney and Remmey, and Brad Walker all shot 41.聽
Genin King was the low man for the Bulldogs with a 45. Dylan Shashura (50), Noah Wible (51), Anthony Dellapenna (59), and Leonard Johns (58) also counted in the final score. Blake Shashura’s 59 was not used.
