Pioneers race past Avella, 52-0
Ben Jackson scored five touchdowns Friday night to lead visiting West Greene to a 52-0 victory at Avella in Tri-County South Conference play.
Jackson had scoring runs of 30, 57, 40, 22 and 30 yards for the Pioneers (5-0, 5-1). He continues to lead the 蘑菇视频 Touchdown Club with 136 points.
Nathan Brudnock caught a 26-yard touchdown pass from Gavin Scott. Austin Geho added a 20-yard touchdown run.
East Allegheny 50, Carmichaels 8
The Mikes were on the road at East Allegheny Friday night for a non-conference game, and Carmichaels returned home with a 50-8 loss to the Wildcats.
Daniel Kasmier had touchdown runs of 8 and 5 yards, and threw touchdown passes of 16 and 19 yards. The Wildcats (4-2) returned two fumbles for touchdowns.
Bailey Jones scored for the Mikes (0-5) in the fourth quarter on a 1-yard run.
Central Valley 41, Waynesburg 14
Central Valley scored 35 points in the first half Friday night on its way to a 41-14 victory over visiting Waynesburg Central in Tri-County West Conference action.
Luke Robinson scored both touchdowns for the Raiders (0-4, 1-5) on runs of 15 and 58 yards in the fourth quarter. Robinson gained 106 yards on the ground on 14 carries. Scott Benco successfully hit both extra points.
Jayen Guy led Central Valley (2-2, 2-4) with 104 yards rushing on seven carries.
