Lady Raiders cruise to 105-44 win against Beth-Center

The Waynesburg Central girls won the last relay to wrap up a 105-44 victory Tuesday afternoon against visiting Beth-Center in Section 6-AA action.

The Lady Raiders’ Josie Morgan, Talia Teagarden, Emma Mankey and Emily Woods won the 1,600 relay in 4:51.67, about four seconds faster than the Beth-Center squad.

The Lady Bulldogs also conceded all nine points available in the pole vault.

Taylor Shriver (100 high hurdles, 18.54; 200, 28.46; pole vault, 8-0), Juliana Fowler (100, 13.40; long jump, 15-6¼; triple jump, 31-8½), the 400 relay (52.71), Mankey (300 intermediate hurdles, 55.05), Kaitlyn Pester (3,200, 15:44), Bree Echegaray (high jump, 4-6), and Madison Brooks (discus, 125-2; shot put, 35-8½) all secured first-place finishes for Waynesburg Central. 

Sydney Urbine (1,600, 6:22.94; 800, 3:05.20), the 3,200 relay (11:36.88), Ella Booth (400, 1:09.72), and Mikayla Kanalis (javelin, 94-7) finished first for Beth-Center.
