Mikes tough at home, defeat Charleroi, 207-245
Taggart Shea led the way for Carmichaels Thursday afternoon as the Mikes defeated visiting Charleroi, 207-245, at Carmichaels Golf Club in Section 8-AA play.
Shea shot 1-under 36 for the Mikes, who won their opening section match of the season. Remmey Lohr wasn’t far behind with a 1-over 37.
Delaney Lohr (42), Bradley Walker (44), and Christopher Barrish (47) rounded out the scoring for the Mikes. Nick Rocco’s 49 wasn’t used.
Zack Summers was the low man for the Cougars (1-1, 2-1) with an 8-over 45. Sam Leonetti and Will Wagner both shot 47. Keaton Riley and Nate Anthony both finished with 53. Noah LaCarte’s 54 was not included.
