Pioneers avenge loss to McGuffey, 798-51x-797-41x
West Greene’s aim was a little truer the second time around as the Pioneers rifle team defeated visiting McGuffey, 798-51x-797-41x, Tuesday afternoon to avenge an earlier loss in Section 1 action.
The Thomas sisters led the way for West Greene with Allison and Kenzie sharing medalist honors with a score of 100-8x and Haleigh Thomas scoring 99-6x.
DJ Jones, Shey Watson and Jade Rittenhouse all finished with 100-6x. Corey John scored 100-4x and Courtney Ross closed the scoring with 99-7x.
Julia Carrick was the top shooter for the Highlanders with 100-6x.
