Lady Rockets beat visiting Geibel, 37-23
The Lady Rockets blew a close game open in the fourth quarter Monday night as Jefferson-Morgan handed visiting Geibel Catholic a 37-23 loss in Section 2-A action.
Jefferson-Morgan (2-7, 5-12) led 7-5 after the first quarter and 15-14 at halftime. After the teams played to a 7-all tie in the third quarter, the Lady Rockets secured the win with a 15-2 advantage in the fourth quarter.
Brynn Boyd led Jefferson-Morgan with a game-high 18 points. Autumn Gustovich added 15.
Sara Ehrhardt led the Lady Gators (0-9, 1-15) with 10 points.
