By For The Greene County Messenger 1 min read

Rachel Rohanna faltered a bit with two bogeys in the final four holes Friday afternoon, but managed to make the cut in the opening Symetra Tour event of the season.

The Waynesburg Central graduate shot 2-over 74 in the second round for a two-round total of 1-over 145. She’s tied in 42nd place.

Allison Emrey holds the lead after two rounds at 9-under 135. The cut line was at 2-over.

Rohanna started on the first hole and 14 straight pars to remain at 1-under for the tournament. She took a bogey-6 on No. 15 to pull to even par, but followed with back-to-back pars.

Rohanna went out with another bogey-6 to play the back in 2-over.

She hit 12-of-14 fairways and 13-of-18 greens in regulation, but needed 32 putts to complete the round.
