Maples finish up 11-1 win over Geibel
Mapletown and Geibel Catholic completed a suspended game Wednesday to close out the Section 1-A schedule on a winning note for the Maples, 11-1.
Mapletown closes with a 2-10 section mark and an overall record of 2-13.
The Maples led 11-1 when the game was suspended last Friday, so neither team scored in the four innings played Wednesday.
Brandon Donley pitched the second, third and fourth innings to earn the win.
Clay Menear finished with two hits, two runs scored and four stolen bases for Mapletown. Dalton Engelhardt, Noah Haines and Vince Walick add doubled in the win.
Walick drove in three runs and Lance Stevenson drove in a pair.
