Rohanna makes cut at Zimmer Biomet Championship
Rachel Rohanna had an even-par round Friday to make the cut into the weekend rounds of the Zimmer Biomet Championship hosted by Nancy Lopez.
The Waynesburg Central graduate has a two-round score of 1-over 145 and is tied in 36th place after opening the second round in 50th place.
Nuria Iturrios maintained the tournament lead at the halfway point with a two-round total of 9-under 135.
Rohanna opened on the back nine at Lake Course at Grand National (RTJ Golf Trail) in Auburn, Ala., with eight straight pars to remain at 1-over for the tournament.
She bogeyed her ninth hole to go out in 1-over 37.
Rohanna scored two birdies through the first six seven holes on her back nine to pull to 1-under for the tournament, but gave one of the strokes back with a bogey on her 17th hole.
Rohanna hit 12-of-14 fairways and 13-of-18 greens in regulation, and needed 31 putts.
