Lady Raiders down Beth-Center, 3-2
Beth-Center rallied twice to tie the Section 3-AA match, but Waynesburg Central won the fifth match to secure a 3-2 road victory Tuesday night.
The Lady Raiders won the opening set, 25-14, then the Lady Bulldogs tied it up with a 25-14 win. Waynesburg regained the lead with a 25-17 win, only to have Beth-Center tie the match with a 25-19 victory.
Waynesburg won the final set, 15-12.
Alissa Minerd led Beth-Center with 24 digs and nine aces. Noelle Hunter had 14 kills and five blocks. Zoey Sussan finished with 25 assists, and Amber Headlee had seven kills.
