Red Raiders defeat visiting Rockets, 218-277
Michael Mercadante was medalist as Uniontown turned into the second half of the Section 8-AA schedule Monday afternoon with a 218-277 victory over visiting Jefferson-Morgan at Uniontown Country Club.
Mercadante shot 5-over 41 for the Red Raiders, who improve to 7-1 in the section.
Adena Rugola checked in with a 42, Gage Brugger shot 43 and Maddie Myers finished with 45. Nate Moody’s 47 closed the scoring. Ty Berdar’s 55 was not used.
Kyle Clayton was the low man for the Rockets (2-5) with a 9-over 45. Cole Tretinik (58), Bryce Bedilion (52), Savannah Clark (67), and Jaggar Jellotts (55) also counted in the final tally.
