Raiders fall to South Park, 22-9
South Park held Waynesburg Central scoreless in the second half Friday night for a 22-9 Tri-County West Conference road victory.
The Raiders (0-3, 2-3) trailed 13-0 after the first quarter, but cut the deficit to four points on Darnell Johnson’s 28-yard run and Gavin Benson’s 21-yard field goal.
Rudy Mihoces scored on a 65-yard run for the Eagles (2-1, 2-2) early in the fourth quarter and the South Park defense scored a safety with 19 seconds left in the game.
