EDITOR鈥橲 NOTE: In 1996, Jim Moore, former editor of the Greene County Messenger, wrote these two feature articles about John Daily and John O鈥橦ara and the impact they made in putting Rain Day on the proverbial map for Greene County. Jim, who passed away in 1998, used to fondly refer to those two men as 鈥渓egends.鈥� On 2022蘑菇视频 Rain Day, as we all hope for some drops from above, we thought it would be nice to remind everyone how we got here thanks, in large part, to the early efforts of Daily and O鈥橦ara.
